What is store credit?
Last updated: 6 September 2026
Store credit is a balance held against your account that can be used at checkout. It can arise when:
- a refund is credited to your account at your request instead of back to the card;
- a balance is granted as part of a campaign or a goodwill resolution;
- wholesale arrangements are settled against an account balance.
You can see the balance and its movements in the store credit section of your account; each line shows date, description and amount.
When you have a balance it can be applied at checkout and any remainder is paid by card.
Store credit is not converted to cash. It is granted for use on purchases. If you would rather a refund went back to your card, say so in the return request; refunding to the original payment method is in any case the default (see refund timing).
If a line in the history is unclear, email [email protected] and we will explain it.
